Our studio portraits are for those who want imagery that goes further than just a snapshot. We create an enjoyable and fun filled experience, while delivering stunning portraits of the highest quality. My style is inspired from vintage era artists, which gives my images a painterly & classic look. The images are simple and timeless, best for hanging in your family home or gifting them to your loved ones. I love capturing genuine emotions & beautiful intimate moments of you and your family. When should I book my session ?
Currently our session dates and times are limited, we are offering limited sessions in a week so that we can provide our clients with exceptional personalized service and attention, so book your session as soon as possible.
When planning your family or kid’s session it is ideal to schedule your time around your children’s feeding and sleep times. We want to meet your children at their best!
Where will the session take place ?
This depends on the type of session you would like. As we specialize in studio photography most of our indoor sessions will take place at our studio in Whitefield, Bangalore. We also provide on location studio setups on request. The outdoor sessions usually takes place in nearby parks or residential areas or any other location of your choice.
How do I book my session?
Booking your session is super easy. Get in touch with us to know the packages on offer. You can either email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 7899553621. Once you have selected the package of your choice, you can update us on your selection & preferred date & time. To reserve your dates, there is a Non-Refundable session fee of 50% due, at the time of booking which goes toward your session fee. The balance package amount will be due on the day of the photo shoot.
Once you transfer the advance amount, let me know so that I can check and send you email confirmation of the same.
What should we wear for the shoot ?
Your clothing is very important as it will dictate the mood and tone of the portraits and it is one of the first things that needs to be decided. Over all we are looking for a timeless, stylish and plain clothing that keep the focus on you rather than the clothing. I will discuss the wardrobe styling in detail with you during your pre-session consultation.
What is the pre-session consultation and how does it happen ?
A pre-session consultation is scheduled on phone few days before the session so that all the discussions and ideas are finalized before the session. You are welcome to call us anytime with a question.
What all is included in the portrait session fee ?
Your portrait session fee includes a pre-session consultation over phone and how-to guides regarding wardrobe styling, your portrait session, processing and preparation of the images and the final print products (if included in the package)
How many people are included in a family session ?
A family includes a couple & their children. Any extra member of the family can be included at additional cost of 1500/- per head.
What about my hair & makeup?
We would share best references that go along with your dresses and we recommend you to hire a professional Hair & Makeup artist to get ready for your session. If required we can arrange Hair & Makeup at additional cost.
I want an outdoor session but what if the weather doesn't co operate ?
In the case of inclement weather (rain, storms, etc.) we will simply reschedule to another open day/time. I do leave open spots in my calendar for just such events.
However it’s important to note that We do not reschedule simply because the sky is overcast or the temperature is cool. We love doing a photo shoot when it’s overcast because the lighting is great any time of day! We ask clients for all sessions to dress appropriately for that day’s weather.
I’m interested in an at home session but how do I know if my home is a good setting for photos ?
For at-home sessions, I generally look for locations with larger windows (the more the better) and plenty of natural light. In addition, larger rooms (or an open floor plan) and simple, uncluttered decor are best. Even otherwise, we can use strobes and flashes with our custom hand painted canvas backdrops for the shoot.
What if my family member / child is ill on the day of the shoot ? Can we reschedule ?
Yes absolutely, a poorly family member/child isn’t very conducive to happy photos! I am happy to reschedule your session to another date at no extra cost, please try and give me as much notice as possible. Please note if the session has to be rescheduled a second time due to illness, there is a 30% re-booking fee which will be applied.
Can we bring our dog / pets to the shoot ?
Yes absolutely! I love photographing people with their four-legged friends. Please let me know in advance if you wish to bring your dog/ pet along to the shoot so I can ensure we choose a suitable location for the shoot.
Can I get all the raw files from the shoot ?
I’m sorry, but we don’t provide any RAW files. Clients are hiring me not only to provide a product– the finished image– but a process as well. Without the process there actually is no finished image. “Getting your money’s worth” has nothing to do with the number of images shot, but everything to do with the quality of the images delivered.
For example:- The price tag of a painting does not include all of the painter’s rough drafts. Paintings and sculptures do not come with the artist’s initial sketches.
When can I get my photos & do I get to choose which photos will be edited and delivered ?
After the shoot, mostly in a week's time, a link will be shared for shortlisting from which you can select as per your preference and submit. That list will go through post-processing and delivered within 3 - 4 weeks.
Can I upgrade the package after the shoot or buy extra photos ?
Yes, you always have an option of buying more in case if you like more photos or Upgrade the package during your shortlisting session.
Do you share our images on your website, social media and other places ?
Yes. The images are shared on various social media platforms online and in print too. Photography is a form of expression for me and being able to share my work with others keeps me motivated. Photography being an art form is very similar to painting, if you couldn’t show your painting with the world then it would be of no use. However, certain events may be time sensitive like maternity etc so I would delay sharing images for such events.
